The T9432 ICS TRIPLEX is a 32-channel discrete (digital) output module engineered for Triconex Triple-Modular Redundant (TMR) safety instrumented systems (SIS). Developed by ICS Triplex (now part of Schneider Electric), the T9432 provides highly dependable, fault-tolerant control signals to field devices such as solenoid valves, relays, motor starters, alarms, and shutdown actuators—commonly used in Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire & Gas (F&G), and process interlock systems.
Operating with a 24 V DC nominal sinking output configuration, each of the 32 channels can switch up to 100 mA per point (with group current limits) and features individual short-circuit protection, open-wire detection, and LED status indicators. Thanks to Triconex’s patented TMR architecture, every output command is generated by three independent processors and voted upon before being sent to the field—ensuring that a single hardware fault cannot cause a dangerous spurious trip or fail-to-act condition.
The T9432 ICS TRIPLEX supports hot-swappable replacement, enabling maintenance without interrupting safety system operation. It integrates fully with TriStation 1131 engineering software for configuration, forced output testing, and real-time diagnostics. Certified to IEC 61508 SIL 3, ATEX, and UL/cUL, it is trusted in the most demanding high-risk industrial environments worldwide.
