RELIANCE SR3000 2SR40700 bus brake module is a key auxiliary component in the SR3000 series drive.It can effectively absorb excess energy generated by AC/DC servo motors during deceleration or load regeneration by having a built-in 700 W continuous power absorption capacity and up to 75 kW instantaneous energy absorption performance(within 0.5 seconds),avoiding DC bus voltage rise.

The working voltage of this module is adapted to a 460 VAC system environment and can be used in parallel with SR3000 drivers.It supports multi unit parallel connection to enhance the total energy absorption capacity and meet the requirements of high-power systems.The module is equipped with status indicator lights(P/S,SNB,FLT,ALM),24V control circuit,interface terminals,supports external overheating protection components,and adopts a forced air cooling system to effectively maintain stable operation.

Installation and maintenance

Preparation before installation:Cut off the system power,wait for the DC bus to fully discharge(recommended≥5 minutes),and confirm that the drive is configured with 460 VAC.Connect 2SR40700 to the+P/-N terminals on the SR3000 bus,ensuring that the control circuit 24V,fan power supply,and alarm terminals are wired correctly.
